In last week’s edition, an article discussing the Standish Community Center was unclear when referring to Town Councilor Wayne Newbegin. Although he sits on the Standish Community Center Committee now, Newbegin was not on the committee when it proposed a land purchase in Standish. The land which was purchased is now unbuildable due to wetlands and vernal pools.
