The Westbrook American reported on Oct. 31, 1962, that Audway Treworgy, a republican, was unopposed in his bid to represent Gorham in the Legislature. Douglas Hague, who chose not to run again, was the incumbent.
Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Libby of West Buxton were spending a few days in Augusta where they attended the Grand Lodge of the I.O.O.F.
