In mid-October, Unity Church of Greater Portland, located at 54 River Road in Windham, will be holding a special screening of the docu-drama “10 Questions for the Dalai Lama.”

Unity Church has a long-standing tradition of honoring and encouraging the study of all religions. In keeping with that belief, the church will have a public showing of the film on Friday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 21 at 12:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $10 or $12 at the door.

Against the backdrop of an exotic land, a lone film-maker is granted one hour to ask 10 questions of the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet. A story is woven between a journeyman’s personal observations, the troubled history of a government in-exile, and the life and wisdom of one of the premiere spiritual leaders of our time.
