Windham police are looking for the man who robbed the Subway Sandwich Shop in North Windham late Monday night.

Police say a thin, white male about five and a half feet tall told the cashier he had a gun and left with about $170 from the register. He did not show the alleged weapon and was wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue hat, red bandana and sunglasses.

The clerk was not injured and the robber was seen fleeing on foot toward the Windham Mall. A K-9 search of the area was unsuccessful.

Subway manager Alisha Kalar said she has reviewed the videotape of the robbery and said the suspect looks young, between 18 and 25, and is larger than the police report. She said he could be up to six feet tall and 170 pounds.
