Police are requesting the public’s help in apprehending a man suspected of an armed robbery in Casco.
On Monday, Oct. 8 between 8:45 and 9 p.m., a man entered Bob’s Place, a convenience store at the intersection of Route 302 and the State Park Road in Casco, on two occasions. The second time he approached the store owner and handed him a handwritten note, which said he had a gun and wanted money. After robbing the owner, the suspect then left the area in a vehicle that was parked near the scene.
Police have described the suspect as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall with a mole on his face. During the robbery, the man was wearing dark sunglasses, light gray sneakers, a zipped-up hooded sweatshirt and baggy blue jeans. He had a light complexion and weighed about 145 pounds.
