Library Display
Works by artist Diane L. Dutton of Windham, are currently on display at the Windham Public Library. An assortment of photographs and mixed media are exhibited, picturing a variety of subjects such as butterflies, flowers and seascapes. Although she has been doing photography all of her life, painting was a new talent that she explored in 2003 after the death of her husband, Robert E. Dutton. Since then, she has spent most of her time working as an artist and motivational speaker. According to Dutton, “When you paint, you see the world through different eyes. The world becomes an open landscape of possibilities. You lose track of time. You become immersed in the colors, the feel and the moment. It’s where the heart beats, where life is.” Dutton’s work will be on display through Oct. 31. The Windham Public Library is located at 217 Windham Center Road.
