Cape Elizabeth 40

Gray-New Gloucester 0

On Friday, the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots became the latest victims of the undefeated Cape Elizabeth Capers’ potent offensive attack, as Cape rolled to a 40-0 road win.

Cape (5-0) has surrendered just 14 points all season, none since Sept. 8 and is averaging an incredible 43.4 points per game on offense.

Cape started out the scoring with just under a minute gone in the first quarter. Quarterback Jim Bump hit Curtis Dulac with a 55-yard touchdown pass to put Cape on the board.

That would be all the points the Capers needed for the win, but Cape kept up the offensive attack throughout the game and rolled on to the 40-0 final score.

Next up for the Patriots (0-5), they travel to Falmouth on Friday night to face the 1-4 Yachtsmen at 7 p.m.
