Staff Sgt. Richard B. Campbell, of Gray, and Sgt. Timothy B. MacArthur, of Skowhegan, recently received recognition by the Joshua L. Chamberlain Chapter of the Association of United States Army (AUSA) in Kennebunkport.

Campbell was recognized as the Maine Army National Guard Recruiter of the Year while MacArthur was recognized as the Maine Army National Guard Soldier of the Year.

Campbell is a member of the Maine Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Command and working in Portland. MacArthur is a member of the 11th Civil Support Team located in Waterville.

The Association of the United States Army is a private, nonprofit educational organization that supports active Army soldiers, National Guard, reserve, civilians, retirees and family members.
