Nothing speaks to Windham’s agricultural past better than this picture of the feed store in South Windham. Paris Flouring Co., located next to the train tracks, so off-loading would be available, advertised such goods as spring and winter bran, egg mash, growing feed, horse feed and something called red dog flour – all in 100 lb. quantities. From the records, it appears the feed store was first on Gray Road, then Depot Street and back to Gray Road, where Blue Seal Feeds & Needs is located today.
