“The Full Monty,” a musical about a group of unemployed steel workers who come up with a plan to make quick cash, runs through June 3 at The Portland Players in South Portland. It is for mature audiences.
New York City director and choreographer Joyce Presutti used local talent for this community theater production. The musical, with a book by Terrence McNally and score by David Yazbek, is based on the British film of the same name. On Broadway, the musical opened in October 2000 and ran for 770 performances.
Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.; Sundays at 2:30 p.m.
