Coming this May, the Bonny Eagle High School Drama Club is presenting “Guys and Dolls” by special permission of Music Theater International.

The musical will be performed on May 10, 11, 12 at the high school auditorium at 7 p.m. under the direction of MaryEllen Schaper. The music director is Allen Thomas, pit band conductor is Ellen Moskevich and choreography is by Zack Betty and Samantha York. Rick Osann is the technical advisor, with set design by Stephen Hilton.

“Guys and Dolls” is a favorite among theater-goers. It tells the tales of Hot Box entertainer Miss Adelaide (Gretchen Sjulander) and her fianca of 14 years, dice game “entrepreneur” Nathan Detroit (Justin Adams), and of “Mission Doll” Sergeant Sarah Brown (Sara Dodge) and the well-traveled high roller Sky Masterson (Dan Byrne).

Join in for this fun evening of love, laughs and such memorable songs as “Luck be A Lady” and “Sit Down You’re Rocking The Boat.” Tickets are $6 and $4 for seniors and students and are available in advance from any Drama Club member, at the Bonny Eagle High School office. Or they may be purchased at the door.
