The U.S. Small Business Administration will mark Small Business Week, April 22-28, with a series of events at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.
For more than 40 years, the Small Business Administration has recognized outstanding small business owners for their contributions to the nation’s economy and for their personal achievement during small business week.
Since 1963, every president has declared National Small Business Week to formally recognize the important role of America’s small business community.
This year’s conference will focus on small business accomplishments, including disaster recovery, procurement and entrepreneurial success.
More than 100 small business owners will be honored at four major award events, culminating with the announcement of the National Small Business Person of the Year. Other top honors include the Phoenix Awards, the Champion Awards, the Lender Awards and the Federal Procurement Awards.
