It’s almost summertime and in 1914, this is what we could be looking forward to – the old photo is marked The Basin at Little Sebago. It’s from a collection of photos from the late 1800s to 1915 or so, from a member of the Hoag family who summered there. If anyone’s family has a long history of summering at Little Sebago, the Historical Society has many photos. Some of the family names are Hall, Hoag, Scattergood among others. Many of them were Quaker families. These pictures were a gift to the Society, and are mostly of people – not so much scenery. For more information, contact Kay Soldier kso48@aol.com.
