In a recent ceremony at Bonny Eagle High School 24 students were inducted into the National Honor Society. The following students were inducted:

Breanne Boutilier is the daughter of Mark and Dawn Boutilier of Buxton. Breanne is involved in theatre, thespian society, and student council. Breanne has not only acted on the stage but she has also served as stage manager for numerous productions at Bonny Eagle. Along with this, Breanne has served as Drama Club President for the past two years, been an active member of Natural Helpers for the past three years, and been a member of the mock trail team for the past two years. Breanne also plays recreational basketball in the winter.

Kyle Bulger is the son of Mark and Holly Bulger of Buxton. Kyle is a life guard and volunteers a lot of his time at the YMCA and the Centre of Movement Dance Studio. Kyle enjoys being part of the wrestling team as well as a member of the Drama Club and a Thespian Society member. Kyle also has become a senior class Vice President and an assistant swim coach at the YMCA.

Brittany Parker is the daughter of Chris and Allison Parker of Hollis. Brittany is involved in T-Cell, the Foreign Language Honor Society and Project Graduation 2007.

Stephanie Pomerleau, daughter of Michael and Debra Pomerleau of Buxton, has been a member of the high school wind ensemble for the past four years and flute section leader for the past two years. Stephanie is a member of Foreign Language Honor Society and a student mentor. She has volunteered 120 hours at Maine Medical Center, helps out in a fourth grade classroom and is involved in a volunteer Bible education work.

Jonathan Simpson is the son of Daniel Simpson and Kathleen Logan. As a senior, Jonathan has been a member of the Bonny Eagle community for three years. Over this time, Jonathan has devoted a lot of his time to the robotics team, and is now one of the presiding captains. Jonathan is a member of the Bonny Eagle Math Team and has been an active volunteer for the Bonny Eagle Swim Team. Outside of school, Jonathan spends time helping out at his mother’s art store in Brunswick.

Jacquee Boucher is the daughter of Margaret and Chris Boucher. Jacquee is involved with the drama club and chorus and has been a girl scout for twelve years.

Averi Cole is the daughter of Kathy and Gil Cole of Hollis. Averi is involved in Field Hockey, Softball, the Civil Rights Team, and the Fight Against Cancer Society. She attends cancer walks and Mercy Hospital party visits.

Bridget Ferry is the daughter of Charlie and Jude Ferry of Standish. Bridget is involved in Natural Helpers, the Indoor/Outdoor track teams, Recycling Club, Amnesty International, and volunteers at the Bonny Eagle Middle School to help the kids in track.

Victoria Frankl, daughter of John and Stephanie Frankl of Limington. Victoria volunteers at the Special Olympics and Strive, plays for the Bonny Eagle High Tennis Team, is a part of the Student Council, is Secretary for the Civil Rights Team, and has been a dancer for nine years.

Kayle Hamilton is the son of Richard and Lisa Hamilton of Buxton. Kayle is involved with the golf, ice hockey, and lacrosse teams as well as student council. Kayle is also a volunteer in the Lil’ Scots Program.

Madylan Kluna is the daughter of Al and Tammy Kluna of Standish. Maddie is involved in Varsity softball, the Fight Against Cancer Society, and Student Council. She volunteers for the Standish Softball Association and is a member of the College Prospect Softball team at Frozen Ropes.

Megan Kuschke, daughter of David and Carol Kuschke of Hollis. Megan is involved in Field Hockey, Lacrosse, the Civil Rights Team, Student Council, and the Church Youth Group.

Joseph Marro is the son of Dana and Lorraine Marro of Buxton. Joseph has participated in basketball and baseball throughout high and was the captain of the team freshman and sophomore year. Joseph has also volunteered at the Wayside Soup kitchen. Joseph was recently inducted into the Foreign Language Honors Society and actively participates in Key Club.

Kelly Martin, daughter of Fred and Diana Martin of Buxton. Kelly is involved in Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor track, the Recycle Club, Amnesty International, and the Bonny Eagle Robotics Team. She is also a student council representative and volunteers with the Bonny Eagle Middle School indoor track program.

Danielle Napolitano, daughter of Bill Napolitano and Lisa Tapley of Buxton/Steep Falls. Danielle volunteers for the Special Olympics, plays tennis for the Bonny Eagle Girls Tennis Team, is Vice President of the Civil Rights Team, and is a current crew member of the Drama Club.

Rachel Porter, daughter of Randall and Susan Porter of Buxton. Rachel has been a member of the varsity girls soccer team since her sophomore year and an influential part of her softball teams throughout high school. Rachel’s academic excellence and hard work ethic have helped her receive numerous awards including Math and English awards for her class. Rachel is also active in her community by helping out her church and is involved in Key Club and FACS.

Jessica Pratt is the daughter of Steven and Lisa Pratt of Standish. Jessica is involved in dance at Wanda Plummer’s dance school on the senior line and works summers at the Inlet in Standish. Jessica has also participated in 4-H clubs, National History Day, the Mock Trial, and currently serves as her home base representative for student council. Jessica performs various volunteer activities throughout the community.

Tyler Shortsleeve, son of Hal and Terry Shortseeve of Standish. Tyler is involved in varsity soccer, indoor track, Maine Metro Premiere soccer, foreign Language Honor Society, Student Council, and Amnesty International. Tyler is also an Eagle Scout and does a lot of volunteer work.

Kevin Stack is the son of David and Sue Stack of Buxton. Kevin is involved in Key Club, The Foreign Language Honors Society, International Club and he is an intern at the Law Offices of Jacqueline Gomes.

Kalie Stevens is the daughter of Walter and Robin Stevens of Standish. Katie participates in field hockey and softball. She also volunteers for the Maine Medical Center during the summer and the Special Olympics every year. Katie is in student council and has represented her class for the past two years. She is also a representative for her home base.

Megan Wallace, daughter of Charlie and Sharon Wallace of Buxton. Megan is a Senior girl scout. Megan is in Foreign Language Honor Society, and drama. Megan loves to read.

Serena Freitas, daughter of John and Elizabeth Freitas of Standish is currently involved in Key Club, and International Club. Serena works with the women in the Maine Correctional Center’s Women Center.

Meaghan Martin, daughter of Jon and Jeanne Martin of Hollis. Meaghan has volunteered for many years and has recently helped to organize benefit fundraisers for the Ever After Mustang Rescue. Meaghan is also a leader in her youth group.

Gregory Yum, son of Michele and Christopher Yum of Buxton. Gregory is on the Bonny Eagle High Swim Team as well as a swim team in Portland. He also is dedicated to Demolay, a program which is based on leadership and community activities, and in the spring runs outdoor track.
