The Baxter Memorial Library is located at 71 South St.

The entrance to the library is diagonally across from the former Shaw School. From South Street (Rte 114), the library may be accessed by turning onto Morrill Avenue, taking a right onto Ballpark Avenue, proceeding to the end of Ballpark Avenue and taking a right into the library parking lot.

From Narragansett Street, the library may be accessed by turning onto the Access Road and following it past the high school and the Recreation Department into the library parking lot.

The Baxter Memorial Library is open

Monday from 12:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The library is closed on Saturdays from June 15 to Sept. 15 and on all legal holidays as well as the day after Thanksgiving.
