Emergency Preparedness!
That’s the subject of the Thursday, March 1, Lake Region Elder Network meeting from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Naples Municipal Building.
Join Faye Daley, Bridgton health officer, and Bill Morrisseau, Bridgton emergency preparedness manager, as they provide information on local resources as well as how to develop our own action plans to be prepared for emergency.
The purpose of the Lake Region Elder Network is to work together to identify needs in the Lake Region community, promote awareness of existing resources, and help develop new resources for unmet needs. Older adults and people who care about them are all welcome to attend. Coffee and a light breakfast will be served. Meetings are held every other month on the first Thursday. Please mark your calendars for May 3 for the next meeting.
The group is coordinated by Healthy Options Together, a local Healthy Maine Partnership, and Southern Maine Agency on Aging. For more information, contact Dona Forke at 693-4545 or dona@fairpoint.net.
