The 1948 graduating class of Windham High School held a class reunion last summer at a restaurant in Gray.
Those classmates attending were included Wallace Wyman and wife Charlotte, Lorraine (Doiron) Demmons and husband Robert, Anne (Elder) Berry and her husband, Larry, all of Windham. William Warren and his wife Teresa of Cornish; George Woodman and his wife Harriet of Westbrook; Marilyn (Richardson) Thompson, Kenneth Atherton both of Gray; Elizabeth (Corson) Wilson of Raymond; Daniel Davis and Millie of Hallowell; Janet (Hodgdon) Harrison and her husband John of Chevy Chase, Md.; William Bowen and his wife, Rachel of Arlington, Tenn. and Audrey (Kimball) Woodbrey and her husband Herbert of Standish.
Many of the classmates gathered at the home of Audrey and Herbert Woodbrey’s following the luncheon. The classmates decided to meet next year the second Saturday in August at the same place and time.
Standish reunion
The 1946 graduating class from the former Standish High School met at the home of Audrey and Herbert Woodbrey’s home on Route 35 in Standish last summer as well. Classmates attending included Betty Ann (Alley) Irish and her husband Eugene, Richard Richardson, Carolyn (Woodbrey) Libby and her husband Arthur, all of Windham. Leah (Moulton) Nelson of Brunswick, Joyce (Wood) Rogers of Baldwin, and Ernestine (Wilkins) Blanchard of Worcester, Mass., Willard Moulton of Standish, and Horace Stevens of China, Maine.
