Daniel Shedd, a senior at Cape Elizabeth High School, has been selected as a candidate for the United States Presidential Scholars Program, which recognizes and honors the nation’s most distinguished graduating seniors.
Annually, up to 141 students are chosen from among outstanding graduating seniors to become Presidential Scholars, one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students.
Scholars are invited to Washington, D.C., in June to participate in National Recognition Week.
