The Westbrook American reported on Feb. 21, 1962, that Kenneth Gardner, Forrest Gay, Gilbert Himmons, Clarence Long and Waldo Emmons served on the committee for the annual firemen’s ball of the Bar Mills Fire Department, planned for Feb. 24.
