Panera Bread, recognized for its handcrafted artisan bread, has introduced Crispani, a flatbread crust pizza served exclusively after 4 p.m. Crispani is now available with six different topping choices at the Panera Bread cafes in Biddeford and Westbrook. Crispani will be available at the South Portland cafa later this month.
Stemming from Panera Bread’s roots in artisan baking, Crispani marks the company’s first product available only at night. Each Crispani is made-to-order from a handcrafted fresh dough crust.
The six varieties of Crispani currently available include: tomato and fresh basil; pepperoni; roasted wild mushroom; sweet sausage and roasted peppers; barbeque chicken with caramelized onions, fresh cilantro, and roasted garlic; and three cheese – mozzarella, fontina and asiago-parmesan.
