Project GRACE is holding a Celebration Dance, featuring live music by the local band Wavelength, Saturday, Feb. 10, from 7:30-11:30 p.m., at Camp Ketcha on Black Point Road in Scarborough.

Proceeds will benefit Project GRACE.

The festivities will not include the silent and live auctions of years’ past. Volunteers have chosen to keep the emphasis on celebrating , not fundraising, for this event.

According to Johnna Dionne, Wavelength’s manager, “The band enjoys playing at the Project GRACE dance because the enthusiasm of the crowd is contagious!” Wavelength’s music can be heard at its Web site, www.wavelengthband.com.

The event is B.Y.O.B. Refreshments will be available. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased from Project GRACE volunteers or at the Cheese Iron, Freaky Bean Coffee Co. or Sudzie Autowash in Scarborough.
