JA? ?tul North America announced the promotion of two of its employees earlier this week.
Scott Clinch, of Windham, has been promoted to manufacturing manager at JA? ?tul. Clinch has worked with JA? ?tul for the last two years. Prior to JA? ?tul, he worked with Sanmina-SCI based in Augusta. Clinch earned his associates in Applied Science degree in Welding and Metal Fabrication from Central Maine Technical College, and his bachelor’s in Applied Science from the University of Southern Maine.
Roger Purinton, of Raymond, has been promoted to Product Development Manager. Purinton has worked with JA? ?tul for the last seven years. Prior to JA? ?tul, he worked with Vermont Castings. Purinton boasts 25 years of hearth industry experience.
JA? ?tul North America was founded in Maine in 1980 and today employs more than 70 people. The parent company, JA? ?tul AS, was founded in Norway in 1853; JA? ?tul wood stoves have been imported in the U.S. since the early 1970s.
