Scarborough’s Senior Series events for January have been announced. Unless otherwise noted, the events take place at the Hillcrest Community Center, 108 Hillcrest Ave., where doors open at 11 a.m.

Jan. 3: Music by an organist from a group called L.I.F.E. The organist will be playing on a full-sized organ. Lunch is $3. Call Carole at 883-4450 or Bill at 883-5925 for a reservation by noon on Jan. 2.

Jan. 17: A trip to the Maine State Museum in Augusta, including a stop for lunch. Bus fare is $5 per person, and admission to the museum is $1. Call Bill at 883-5925 for reservations. The bus will be leaving from Hillcrest Community Center at 9am.

Jan. 24: A speaker from Bonney Staffing will talk about the firm’s new Older Worker Division. Bonney Staffing is the largest independent temporary help service in Maine and New Hampshire. Lunch is $3. Call Carole at 883-4450 or Bill at 883-5925 to reserve.
