Greely edged the Westbrook boys swim team last Friday by a 91-86 score. And the Greely girls swept past the Westbrook girls 119-58.

Some of the winning performers for the Westbrook boys were Jacob Wilson (200 free), Matt Violette (200 IM and 100 butterfly), and Kyle Goan (50 free and 500 free). And the Blazes’ 200 medley relay team of Wilson, Violette, Kyle Goan and Derek Hawkes won that event.

The Westbrook girls had two swimmers place second in two different individual events. Brenda Wood took the runner-up spot in both the 1-meter diving and the 50 free. And Kelly Smith finished second in both the 100 butterfly and the 200 freestyle.

The Bonny Eagle boys swim team finished second in a tri-meet with Lewiston and Edward Little on Saturday. The Blue Devils won the meet with 132 followed by the Scots at 76 and the Red Eddies at 56.

Ian Crossman won two individual events – the 100 freestyle and the 200 freestyle. And the Scots won a pair of relay races.

The foursome of Corey McGrath, Greg Yum, Ian Crossman and Greg Judge won the 200 medley relay race and the same four swimmers placed first in the 400 free relay.

The Bonny Eagle girls finished third in a close contest with the Lewiston-Auburn schools. Lewiston won with 115 points followed by Edward Little at 97 and the Scots at 85.

Hannah Branch had two wins in the 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly.
