On Dec. 3 Project GRACE, Scarborough High School Key Club, and St. Maximilian Kolbe Church will hold the Presents for Parents annual event, where children can come to select gifts for their parents for the holidays.

Families are encouraged to bring their children to this fun event at St. Max’s Parish Hall in Scarborough from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3. Children will be able to shop, wrap, and tag their gifts with volunteers standing by to help. A $2 donation is suggested for each item. Scarborough High School Key Club members will be collecting donations of gifts and wrapping supplies and helping to staff the event.

Donations Needed: If you have any white elephant-type items (knick-knacks) or wrapping supplies that you would like to donate, please drop them off at St. Max Parish Hall clearly marked “Presents for Parents.” Any items that are appropriate gifts, wrapping paper, gift boxes, bows or tags are greatly appreciated.

The Key Club, a Kiwanis International student-led service organization, has over 250 student members at Scarborough High School. Its mission is to teach leadership through serving the community and those in need. Students volunteer their time and energy toward efforts that build the community – both locally and globally.
