Spare tire

On Nov. 11, at about 7:30 p.m., an officer on patrol found a spare tire and rim in the middle of Mitchell Road. The tire was found in front of the Woodland South Apartments and brought back to the police station for storage.

Computer relations

On Nov. 15, at about 10:15 a.m., an officer met with a resident of the Fowler Road area regarding a theft of a computer. The resident had let a companion use the computer, but the relationship between the two ended and the former companion claimed the computer was a gift. The resident was informed to take the matter to civil court.

Bicycle found

On Nov. 16, at about 9:45 a.m., an officer met with a resident of the Two Lights Road area regarding a 21-speed, red and silver mountain bike with a broken handle bar that was found abandoned.

Graffiti found

On Nov. 16, at about 10 a.m., an officer patrolling the Blueberry Ridge development observed that fresh graffiti had been sprayed on a road barrier and an office trailer. The owner of the trailer was notified.

Mailbox mishap

On Nov. 16, at about 10:15 a.m., an officer met with a resident of the Two Lights Road area regarding a mailbox that had been smashed sometime during the previous night.

Nov. 14

Andre Cannetti, 29, Mellen Street, Portland, was issued a summons on Route 77 for speeding 56 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Nov. 15

Christian Foster, 32, Benjamin W. Pickett Street, South Portland, was issued a summons on Scott Dyer Road for speeding 36 mph in a 15 mph zone.

Nov. 16

Dennis Redfield, 55, Peabbles Cove Road, was issued a summons on Sawyer Road for failing to produce proof of insurance.

Nov. 17

A 17-year-old male, Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Mitchell Road for speeding 47 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Nov. 18

A 17-year-old male, Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Sawyer Road for speeding 45 mph in a 30 mph zone.

A 17-year-old male, Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Route 77 for failing to produce proof of insurance.

Nov. 19

A 17-year-old male, Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Route 77 for failing to produce proof of insurance.

Fire and Rescue

The Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad responded to five calls between Nov. 14 and Nov. 19. Four patients were taken to Maine Medical Center and one was taken to Mercy Hospital.

The Cape Fire Department responded to a report of electrical wires sparking on Pond View Road at 7:38 a.m. on Nov. 17.
