Christmas is coming and The Salvation Army is gearing up for the holidays.

Volunteers are needed to stand by the Army’s famous red kettles through Dec. 23.

“People can volunteer whatever hours that is convenient for them. Of course standing a half day or full day is much welcomed as we are fully dependent on volunteers. Individuals, schools, service organizations, churches and any group of people are welcomed to join in on the fun,” said Capt. Frank Nataluk.

Knowing that people are helped at Christmas and throughout the year is a great feeling for anyone wanting to give of their free time. Kettle locations are in Westbrook and Windham. Year after year, The Salvation Army stretches every dollar that is donated due to volunteers. “Many people across America annually donate their time as a volunteer to The Salvation Army as a part of their holiday season.”

Please contact either Rose Duran at 899-7250 or Captain Frank Nataluk at 856-7729 to sign up as a Bell-Ringer Volunteer and bring joy to the season.
