I am writing to show my strong support for Richard J. Sullivan Jr., candidate for Scarborough Town Council.

Richard is a native and life-long resident of our community who is prepared to work hard to represent every person in Scarborough, not just special-interest groups.

He is extremely capable, hard-working and knowledgeable about finance and business.

His goal is to make Scarborough a better place to live and do business, by creating a welcoming environment for new business to thrive, that in turn will create more jobs and lower the residential tax burden.

I applaud his stand that government spending should not grow faster than the taxpayers’ ability to pay, and I know that he will keep a watchful eye on our own town spending.

Richard J. Sullivan Jr. is the best choice for Scarborough Town Council.
