No one there
On Oct. 15, at about 2 p.m., police received a report of kids smoking marijuana behind Wentworth Intermediate. No one was there when police arrived.
Stolen purse
On Oct. 16, at about 9:30 a.m., a purse was stolen from an unlocked house on Oceanview Road.
Lost and found
On Oct. 16, at about 11:30 a.m., a tile saw was found behind the guardrail on Pintail Point Drive.
Pole theft
On Oct. 16, at about 4:20 p.m., a white, metal light pole with a silver and glass light fixture valued at $400 was stolen from a house on Bonneygrove Drive.
Stolen phone
On Oct. 17, at about 8:30 p.m., a purse with a $200 cell phone was stolen out of an unlocked car at Wal-Mart.
Too close
On Oct. 19, at about 5:30 p.m., gunshots were heard around the power lines at River Woods Drive and Silver Brook Circle. Police believe hunters may have been too close to homes in that area.

Oct. 15
Cody Bennett, 19, of Cottage Road, South Portland, was arrested at the Scarborough Police Department on two warrant charges of violation of bail.
Oct. 17
Clinton P. Bigwood, 44, of Pine Point Road, Scarborough, was arrested on Haigis Parkway on charges of operating under the influence, operating after suspension and operating with suspended registration.
Oct. 20
Garrett W. Davis, 19, of Broadturn Road, Scarborough was arrested on Route 1 on charges of operating with suspended registration and operating under the influence.
Oct. 21
Nathan Provost, 35, of Third Avenue, Scarborough, was arrested on Asselyn Drive on charges of operating after suspension and violation of bail conditions.
Justin D. Ellsmore, 24, of Route 1, Scarborough, was arrested on Broadturn Road on a charge of violation of bail conditions.
Michael W. Dumond, 40, of Frances Street, Portland, was arrested on Route 1 on a charge of operating under the influence of drugs.

Stacey L. Carroll, 41, of Main Street, Biddeford, was arrested on Route 1 on a charge of operating after suspension.

Brett E. McKeen, 18, of Scarborough, was issued a summons on I-295 for criminal speed (95/55) and failing to produce registration certificate.
Scott D. Barry, 35, of Tasker Road, Chelsea, was issued a summons on Route 9 for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and failing to produce evidence of insurance.

Jeremy M. Gregor, 23, of Orchard Street, Scarborough, was issued a summons on Payne Road for operating after suspension.

Garrett W. Davis, 19, of Broadturn Road, Scarborough, was issued a summons on Route 1 for possession of a usable amount of marijuana.
Oct. 21
Andrew D. Bradley, 35, of Surrey Lane, Scarborough, was issued a summons on Route 1 for speeding 20 to 24 mph over the limit.
Stephen R. Fortier, 20, of Miller Avenue, Biddeford, was issued a summons on Route 1 for speeding 25 to 29 mph over the limit.
