On Oct. 15, at about 8:15 a.m., an officer met with a resident of the Oakhurst Road area regarding criminal mischief incident. The resident reported hearing a loud noise from the first floor at about 8:30 p.m. on the previous night, and discovered a large hole in a bay window. The estimated cost of repair is several hundred dollars.

Missing wallet

On Oct. 16, at about 12:51 p.m., a Scott Dyer Road resident reported the loss of a black tri-fold wallet within the past few days. The wallet contained approximately $15 in cash, his Social Security card, birth certificate and Maine identification card.

Devious guests

On Oct. 16, at 12:30 p.m., an officer met with a resident of the Shore Road area regarding the theft of a laptop computer. The resident had a party on Oct. 7 with about 30 guests and discovered it missing the following day. The computer is valued at $1,300.

Mail tampering

On Oct. 16, at about 6:20 p.m., a Cross Hill Road area resident complained that after being away for a couple days, it appeared the mail in the mailbox had been tampered with. The resident was advised to have the post office hold the mail when away, or obtain a locking mailbox.

Neighborhood bike

On Oct. 17, at about 1:30 p.m., a resident of the Scott Dyer Road area reported the theft of a bicycle. The bike was later found by the owner on a neighboring street.

Summonses

Oct. 18

Timothy Perrigo, 38, 41 Chestnut St., Old Orchard Beach, was issued a summons on Bowery Beach Road for failing to produce insurance.

Stuart Pendleton, 23, 546 Saco Road, Saco, was issued a summons on Route 77 for possession of marijuana.

Oct. 19

Jean McDonald, 18, 3 Pine Point Road, was issued a summons at Kettle Cove for possession of alcohol.

Samantha Welsh, 18, 168 Two Lights Road, was issued a summons at Kettle Cove for possession of alcohol.

Maxwell Bartlett, 19, 33 Longfellow Drive, was issues a summons at Kettle Cove for possession of alcohol.

Conor Hankinson, 18, 2 Granite Ridge Road, was issued a summons at Kettle Cove for possession of marijuana.

Oct. 20

A 16-year-old female, of Cape Elizabeth, was arrested at her residence for violation of conditions of release.

Fire and Rescue

The Rescue squad responded to 13 calls between Oct. 17 and Oct. 23. Five patients were transported to Mercy Hospital, seven to Maine Medical Center and one required no transport.

The fire department responded to a report of smoke in a basement in South Portland at 7:52 a.m. on Oct. 19; a water rescue at Casino Beach at 11:14 a.m. on Oct. 21; a gasoline spill on Captain Strout Circle at 12:14 a.m. on Oct. 20; an activated alarm on Manter Street at 11:33 a.m. on Oct. 20; an activated fire alarm on Old Mill Road at 7:12 p.m. on Oct. 21; and an aid call in Scarborough at 2:07 a.m. on Oct. 22.
