Stolen ATV

On Aug. 20, at about 2 p.m., an ATV for sale on Sawyer Road was reported stolen.

Bat

On Aug. 21, at about 9:20 a.m., a caller reported bat flying around the door at Bessworth School.

Mailbox bombs

On Aug. 21, at about 2:20 p.m., a mailbox was destroyed by a pipe bomb on Broadturn Road. Police ask that residents on Broadturn Road and the surrounding area report anything suspicious that they find in their mailboxes. Several mailboxes in the area have been destroyed by pipe bombs and by chemical bombs mixed in two-liter soda bottles.

Fist fight

On Aug. 21, at about 7:30 p.m., two business partners in the bar at Anjon’s on Route 1 began an argument. When one man left, the other followed him to the parking lot, grabbed his shirt and punched him in the stomach. After the incident, the man went home and did not press charges.

Road rage

On Aug. 22, at about 4 p.m., a man who had been tailgating another car and honking his horn got out of his car and spit on the other vehicle. He was given a warning.

Slashed tire

On Aug. 23, at about 8 p.m., the owner of Chicago Dogs on Route 1 reported that someone had slashed his tire with a screwdriver.

Aug. 21

Daniel A. Paquette, 26, of Old Orchard Road, Buxton, was arrested on Route 1 on a charge of possession of cocaine.

Paul S. Parziale, 18, of Revere, Mass., was arrested on Route 114 on charges of possession of stolen property and improper plates.

Paul M. Libby, 52, of Richsville Road, Standish, was arrested on Pine Point Road on charges of operating under the influence and operating without a license.

Stephen J. Soucy, 31, of Myrtle Street, Biddeford, was arrested on Broadturn Road on a warrant charge of failing to pay a fine for operating after suspension.

Rebecca L. Jensen, 21, of Harvard Street, Portland, was arrested on Payne Road on a warrant charge of failing to appear for unlawful possession of a scheduled drug.

Aug. 24

Michael J. Zelensky, 29, of Owls Roost Lane, Standish, was arrested in the Wal-Mart parking lot on charges of failure to submit to arrest, violation of conditions of release and disorderly conduct.

Mark W. Clancy, 43, of Congress Street, Portland, was arrested on Route 207 on a warrant charge of failing to pay a fine for habitual offender.
