Bodge’s Variety, located on Route 25 in Standish, sits empty after 11 years in business. A note taped to the door announced the closing offering little explanation to customers. The store closed its doors in late July. Owners Tom and Sherry Bodge could not be reached for comment. It is unclear if the store will reopen under new management. Staff photos by Heidi MacVane
