Stolen bike

On Aug. 13, at about 11 a.m., a mountain bike valued at about $500 was stolen from a bike rack in front of the Sun and Sand Motel on King Street.

Card theft

On Aug. 13, at about 5 p.m., a woman on Woodfield Drive reported that a credit card was stolen from her unattended purse.

Skip the check

On Aug. 13, at about 8 p.m., an intoxicated man left without paying his drink tab at Rising Tide Restaurant on King Street.

Gate crasher

On Aug. 16, at about 8:40 p.m., a resident on Black Point Road told police that a truck crashed through the gates to the Eastern Trail. When police arrived, there was a truck in the area, but it was not past the gates.

No jumping

On Aug. 16, at about 9 p.m., two male juveniles were reported jumping on the roof of another car on Willowdale Road.

Stalking

On Aug. 19, at about 4:30 p.m., a woman on Maple Avenue called police to report a man who had been stalking her was in the area. He had previously shown up at her work and called her multiple times. He was not supposed to be in the state, and was gone when police arrived.
