Aug. 5: Knights Of Columbus Roast Pork Supper at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Hall on Route 3092 in Windham from 5 to 6p.m. Pork roast, mashed potatoes, carrots, apple sauce, rolls, homemade desserts, coffee & punch. Price is $7 for adults, $3 per child 12 or under.

Aug. 5: Home-baked blueberry goods and cut flower sale at the Marrett House, Standish, near intersection of routes 25 and 35. The sale runs 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (rain or shine). Aug. 5: The fifth annual “Good Old Fashioned Variety Show” to benefit the Windham Monday Meals Program is held at Windham Assembly of God, 1051 Roosevelt Trail, in Windham, starting at 7 p.m. Free will donation. FMI 642-2834.

Aug 5: ‘All About Owls’ Night Hike at Maine Wildlife Park: 8-10 p.m.: Learn what our wildlife does at night under the light of the full moon and your flashlight. Special owl displays! Regular admission fee. (Cancelled if raining) Nature Store and Snack Shack will be open! FMI 287-3303.

Aug. 5, 6: “Back to the Past” at Scribner’s Mill in Harrison. Looking for a good old tyme, come “Back to the Past” at Scribner’s Mill for a turn of the century homestead, sawmill, lumbering festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Two full days of demonstrations, exhibits, house tours, children’s activities, and refreshments. Starting at 5 p.m., there will be an old fashion Pig Roast and Baked Bean Supper. Admission to the festival is $5, children 12 and under free. Aug. 10-13: 37th Annual Cumberland Arts & Craft Show at Cumberland Fairgrounds. Thursday-Saturday 10a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 300 Maine artisans to sell handmade products. Admission $3, supervised children’s area, free parking, food vendors, rain or shine.

Aug. 12: Pancake breakfast at St. Peter’s Church, 214 Main St., Bridgton between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 am. Cost is $7 for adults/$3 under 10 and free to young people under 3 years old. Hot coffee, yummy blueberry and regular pancakes, and muffins waiting for you.
