2006 Record 2-13
Coach Mike Connolly
Highlight “Road victory over playoff-bound Noble High School. Unfortunately, seven of our thirteen losses were by two runs or less. This included a disappointing loss to Western Maine runner-up Gorham after carrying a three run lead into the seventh inning.”

Awards SMAA 1st Team All Conference; Casey McKague; SMAA All-Rookie Team: Casey McKague; SMAA All-Defensive Team: Brent Cole
Coach’s Comment “We were a young team that competed well with each team in this competitive conference. Our pitching staff and defense allowed us to remain close despite a lack of run support. Seven starters will return to next year’s roster and hopefully we can take the experience and compete for a solid playoff spot.”

Coach’s Comment Coach’s Comment This, truly, was a “magical” team in every sense of the word. Every day, I looked forward to spending time with this group of young ladies-their camaraderie, skill, antics, enthusiasm and love of the game impacted me more than they’ll ever know. Having eight seniors on the team gave us the leadership we needed to compete at such a high level, and they provided the skill as well as the entertainment to assure success. What these players accomplished-both on and off the field-far exceeded anyone’s predictions. They have left a legacy which will be a definite challenge to match! My hope is that every coach-at least once in their career-can be as fortunate as I was this season by having the opportunity to coach such an incredible group of softball players.
Magic Number 7: The softball team had seven athletics named on the Senior All Academic Team.
