The Westbrook City Council’s Finance Committee is continuing its discussion of the proposed budget. The committee has meetings scheduled for Thursday, May 11; Wednesday, May 17 and Thursday, May 18.

The committee will meet on May 11 to discuss the assessing, economic development, city clerk, city hall, membership, tax increment financing district, county tax and the mayor/city council sections of the budget.

On May 17, the committee’s agenda includes the legal, employee benefits, information technology, finance, human resources and the planning, engineering and code enforcement sections of the budget.

The agenda for May 18 includes revenue, enterprise funds and any other items committee members wish to revisit.

All Finance Committee meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. in room 114 of Westbrook High School and they are open to the public.
