Westbrook’s Andrew Howe took third place in the 152-pound class at Saturday’s Class A state wrestling meet in Bangor. Howe was 3-1 on the day, losing only to runner-up Doug Williams of Sanford. “Andrew really wrestled aggresively and seemed to turn it on,” said Blazes coach John Nicholas. “He’s just a junior, and his best is yet to come.” Three other Westbrook wrestlers – Tony Gato, Ray Barnhart and Tia Weymouth – were on hand at the meet as alternates, but didn’t see any action.
