Cape resident and lawyer Richard Bryant, kneeling in the bottom left-hand corner, is leading the fight against Spurwink Woods, a proposed 42-unit development. The Neighbors for Sensible Development, surrounding him, collected enough signatures to force the town to vote on their proposed zone change. The zone change would block development by prohibiting the creation of ‘short-cut’ streets. Spurwink Woods would link two dead-end neighborhoods.
