United Rentals Inc. has announced the relocation of its Scarborough general rentals branch to a new facility at 10 Thomas Drive in nearby Westbrook. The move will improve branch access and overall convenience for customers, according to Scott Drouin, branch manager for United Rentals.

“During our six years serving the state of Maine we have built a loyal customer base that is growing in size and evolving in terms of job site needs,” said Drouin. “Our new facility makes more equipment available to our customers on a daily basis. In addition to our rental fleet, we are now a one-stop shop with a wide range of professional contractor supplies for sale.”

The branch will showcase its new capabilities at a grand opening event on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
