Do you want to reject a law which would protect people from discrimination in employment, housing, education, public accommodation, and credit based on their sexual orientation? Yes, or no. That’s the question you will be asked at the polls on Nov. 8.
Talk about a loaded question! Unless you answer “No”, you condemn yourself as being a discriminatory, hate-filled bigot! Says who? Our dictatorial governor and the Legislature. They have obviously tried, judged and condemned anyone who stands against them as being discriminatory. I, for one, refuse to accept the judgment of this kangaroo court and will vote to appeal their decision on Nov. 8.
What about “reverse discrimination?” What if a transvestite applied for a receptionists job? He couldn’t be refused, even if you didn’t want a man dressed in women’s clothes greeting your clients. Or what if a gay and a straight apply for a job and the gay isn’t hired, and the law says the employer could be sued? Likewise a company couldn’t fire or promote a heterosexual over a homosexual without the same results. Also, if one voiced a negative opinion in the workplace they could be fired for creating a “hostile environment.” Thus the stage would be set for the loss of one of our dearest possessions – freedom of speech. A loss which is already being experienced in Belgium, Holland, Canada and now Massachusetts.
Look at the Salvation Army, Catholic Charities and the Boy Scouts. No finer Christian organizations exist, yet they have had to forfeit thousands of dollars because they wouldn’t bow down to the gay agenda. Talk about reverse discrimination! Yeah, and meanwhile where is there any compassion for the poor and homeless, not the least of which are the victims of Katrina, Rita, and Wilma!
Are homosexuals captive to the gay gene? Then how is it that Biblical history testifies in 1st Corinthians 6-11 that homosexuality was overcome then, as well as thousands coming forward today and witnessing to their conversion, thus proving that homosexuality is nothing more than a behavior problem?
Gays want to come under the umbrella of the Holy Bible so they quote “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” However this is the 2nd commandment and is superceded by the 1st which is, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all your soul, all your heart, all your strength and all your mind.” In short, to love God, His commandments must be kept; one of which is Leviticus 18:22, ” Thou shalt not lie with a man as with a woman. It is an abomination.”
Homosexuals claim that Jesus had nothing to say on the subject. But, if he said to the adulterous woman, “Go and sin no more.” Would he have said otherwise to a homosexual? Further he addressed the subject directly when he said, “Have you not read that God made them MALE and FEMALE. And for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his WIFE and they shall become one flesh?” (Capitals mine)
In that one statement, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, decreed, as did Moses before him, that homosexuality had no place in God’s plan for mankind and that marriage was to be only between a man and a woman.
Who would have thought that it would come to this – that same-sex couples, because of the way they do sex, would demand special rights? Yes, SPECIAL RIGHTS. For there are laws already which adequately protect everyone in employment, housing and credit etc.. As for visiting rights in hospitals, inheritance, burial arrangements, a simple power of attorney will suffice.
If you are unhappy with the impact that the homosexual agenda will have on society, go to the polls on Nov. 8 and vote, “Yes.”
