Are you tired of walking in the rain, competing with traffic for the side of the road or canceling your walk due to lack of daylight? Every Monday and Friday during the winter from 5 to 7 p.m. in the halls of Lake Region High School, you can instead take part in the “Step Into Fitness” indoor walking program.
Lake Region High School has once again opened its doors to the community to provide a warm safe place to achieve and maintain healthy minds and bodies. “Step Into Fitness” is sponsored by Healthy Options Together, the local Healthy Maine Partnership and the Bridgton Community Center.
All ages and abilities are welcome. Bring the family. Arrive at your convenience and leave when you’re ready. No fancy workout clothes required. Just dress for comfort and wear good shoes. The third year of the “Step Into Fitness” indoor walking program starts on Monday, Nov. 7 at 5 p.m.
