Horses and wagons and dozens of people at the Blackstrap Fire Tower in Falmouth during a church picnic, 1892. Windham’s Edith Elliot is up in the tower according to information accompanying this very old photo. More information about the tower is sought. A steel tower was moved from Blackstrap Road to Atherton Hill, but the tower shown appears to be made of wood. Anyone with information may contact this newspaper, 892-1166.
