Dressed in the latest fashion of the day, Windham High School Class of 1899, poses in front of the brick town office building which also served as a school. Not until 1910 would a high school be built in Windham; today that building is where town offices are and the original “town house” is a museum and home to the Windham Historical Society. Students in this class from long ago included (front row) Mildred Cobb, Annie Varney, Clara Nash, Annie Anthoine and Blanche Douglass.
