Think “Antiques Roadshow” and bring that family heirloom to the Windham Public Library on Saturday, Oct. 8, pay $5, and find out how much it’s worth.
Windham Historical Society is hosting its first Heirloom Appraisal and Silent Auction and Steve Center of Centervale Antiques will be the appraiser. The public is invited to bring up to three items to be appraised, at a fee of $5 each. All proceeds benefit the Historical Society, a non-profit educational organization.
The Silent Auction is an opportunity to do a little shopping early, as you can choose from dozens of unique items including collectibles, a post lamp, bird feeder, books, glassware and even a grill!
It all happens at the library on Windham Center Road, Windham on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 1-4 p.m. For more information, contact Betty Winslow, 842-4062.
