Library Display
On display, now through October 8, is a truly fun exhibit of toys and rocks from the collection of Kelli and Cory Hutchison of Windham. These two young folk have been collecting rocks since Kelli could walk, sometimes finding very interesting ones. Both Kelli and Cory enjoy looking for rocks, giving them as presents, as well as labeling them appropriately (such as “the baseball rock” which is a white, baseball-shaped rock). The other half of the exhibit shows a selection of Happy Meal toys that the children have collected over the years. The toys that the kids feel are the better toys from their collection. Mini Beanie-Babies, Match Box cars, and computer games are among those on display. Do stop by the library for a look at this wonderful exhibit. Call the library for more information or directions to the library (892-1908). The Windham Public Library is located at 217 Windham Center Road, and is open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tues., Thurs., Fri.; 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mon., Wed.; and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sat.
