The following is a list of events scheduled this month at the Steep Falls Library:

Wednesday, Sept. 7 – Make a simple holiday table runner. $10 donation to the library. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Pre-registration is a must.

Wednesday, Sept. 14 – The regular Craft Group begins for the season.

Wednesday, Sept. 20 – One Stroke Painting, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Paint a set of four coasters. $6 supply fee and $10 donation to the library. Pre-registration is a must.

Wednesday, Sept. 21 – Pre-School Reading & Craft Program begins for the season, 10:00am – 11:00am every Wednesday.

Sunday, Sept. 25 – Library Open House 1-3 p.m. Tour the beautiful and historic library; meet the Library Director and Trustees.

Every Thursday – Quilt Group, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Join our group for open sewing and classes.

The Steep Falls Library is a drop off site for Project Linus blankets. The Library also recycles used cell phones and empty printer and copier cartridges, which can be dropped off at the library or the Standish Land Fill. The Library offers Internet access, notary services and a wide selection of books and videos.
