The deadline is Sept. 17 to sign up for the latest AARP driver safety course for drivers 50 years of age and older. The popular class will be held at Windham Public Library on two consecutive Saturdays, Sept. 24 and Oct. 1. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on each of the two dates and participants must attend both sessions to complete the curse.

Registration fee is $10 per person and advance registration is required. To register, call John Hammon, AARP volunteer instructor at 655-4943. Class size is limited, so registrations will be accepted as long as space is still available.
