Did you know that restless leg syndrome affects one out of every ten people? Restless Legs Syndrome, or RLS, is a medical condition that seriously disrupts sleep, health and productivity. People who have RLS feel an irresistible urge to move their legs, along with leg discomfort or pain.

If you or someone you love suffers from these creepy-crawly sensations, you will have an opportunity to learn more about the issues and learn how to get help so you can enjoy a restful night’s sleep.

The next meeting of the Southern Maine RLS Support group will meet Wednesday, September 7 at the Dana Center, Classroom 7, at Maine Medical Center in Portland at 6:30 p.m. Please call Windham resident Sally Breen at 892-8391 to reserve a space.
