The Westbrook Community Chamber has presented its President’s Cup to Calpine Westbrook Energy Center in recognition of that company’s outstanding service and contributions, both through employee volunteering and financial support.

Calpine, located in Westbrook, was the prime sponsor of the 26th Annual Westbrook Together Days celebration held in June.

The two-day festival features a variety of entertainment, food and amusements that culminate in a spectacular fireworks display. Calpine employees volunteered many hours of time helping the Chamber and the city of Westbrook produce the event, and Calpine paid for the fireworks display.

The Westbrook Community Chamber presents its President’s Cup quarterly to local businesses that have made extraordinary contributions to Westbrook and its people.
