Migis Lodge in South Casco, a Sebago Lake resort since 1916, has been profiled in the July/August issue of Departures magazine. The article calls Migis, “…a triumph of the fine art of rustic luxury, or luxurious rusticity, with none of the discomfort of actual camping and all of its outdoorsy, wood-smoke pleasure. The indulgences come in 100 percent natural organic form.” Departures magazine, with a circulation of 500,000, is mailed to holders of American Express Platinum and Centurion cards. Migis Lodge, owned by Tim and Joan Porta, is a 125-acre, Full American Plan resort fronting on 4,000 feet of Sebago Lake.
